ピエール・ジャンヌレのデザインに基づき、チャンディーガルの各行政オフィス向けに製作された Committee Chair。
1950年代、インドの都市チャンディーガルのためにデザインされた家具は、現在もコレクターや愛好家から高い人気を集めています。当オマージュコレクションも、オリジナルのデザインと当時の製造技法への敬意を大切にしながら製作されています。伝統的な技法を用いてオリジナルの真正性を保ちつつ、耐久性と機能性の向上を図っています。
当コレクションでは、デザインされた当時と同じ年代の1950年代〜1960年代の古材を使用しています。新材では得られない深い色合いと、長い年月を経て落ち着いた木の質感は、当コレクションならではのものです。
当時の設計図を基に、ピエール・ジャンヌレ本人が監修していた職人から技術を受け継いだ、インド有数の工房にて製作しています。

The Committee Chair, made after Pierre Jeanneret's design for the administrative offices of Chandigarh.
This piece belongs to our homage collection, made after the original design by Pierre Jeanneret for Chandigarh, India, in the 1950s.
Every piece in this collection is crafted from reclaimed timber of the 1950s–1960s, the same era in which the designs were created, offering a depth of tone and character that new wood cannot replicate.
Based on the original drawings, each piece is made at one of India's leading workshops, by artisans who inherited their techniques from craftsmen supervised by Pierre Jeanneret himself.

Notes on Materials & Craftsmanship
This product is crafted by hand using old teak wood (1950s–60s) and natural materials. As a result, variations in wood grain, color tone, knots, as well as small dents or traces of repair may occur, and each piece is unique. These characteristics are not considered defects, but rather inherent qualities of aged materials and traditional craftsmanship.
Each piece can be finished in a tone suited to your interior. We are happy to advise on the finish best suited to your space.
